Simran Verma, AMFT

AMFT 149815

My name is Simran Verma and I have a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I believe healing is a holistic journey and my practice integrates the mind, body, and soul to support clients in their personal growth journeys. With a background as a personal trainer and a somatic healer, I deeply value the connection between physical and mental health. While traditional talk therapy is powerful, incorporating somatic practices adds a meaningful layer to the healing process that can help clients connect more deeply with themselves.
I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents including my role as a behavioral therapist for kids with autism with co-occuring issues such as ADHD. As a mental health therapist in school systems, I addressed concerns such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, attachment challenges, self-esteem issues, trauma, and grief. With a commitment to a collaborative approach, I worked closely with parents and teachers to ensure client wellness.

As a therapist, my priority is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and respected. I tailor my approach to your unique needs, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strength-based therapy, mindfulness, existential therapy, nervous system regulation, and breathwork. My goal is to empower you with lifelong tools to take control of your mind rather than letting it control you. Healing is a journey, and it’s never too late to start. You are worthy of love, happiness, and wholeness, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
