Dr. Christa Nettles, M.S., M.A.

I have a passion for helping others. I have over 15 years of experience working in the mental health field in different settings. I love working in all settings ranging from the mental health hospitals, emergency group home shelters for adolescents, schools, and even the clients’ home. The age range of clients I have worked with extends from ages 2 years old to 65 years of age. I have worked with youth, adults, parents, school personnel and have facilitated various therapy groups.
I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University of Long Beach. After graduating, I pursued my master’s degree in psychology from University of Phoenix. I am a student at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology where I am pursuing another master’s degree in forensic psychology while simultaneously working on my doctoral degree in the same field. I am also a registered Psychological Assistant with the California Board of Psychology.
My therapeutic approach is customized to meet the needs of my clients. I am skilled in Client-Centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Behavior Modification techniques.
