My name is Juana Freire, ACSW I have a BA in Education and Psychology from California State University Dominguez Hills, and a Master’s in Social Work and Mental Health and a sub concentration in Military social work from the University of Southern California. I have over 8 years experience in working individually, with children (ages 5+) adolescent, and adults, dealing with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, Neurodiverse, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, self-harm, sexual abuse, social skills, stress /stress management, suicide ideation, trauma, and trauma including victim of abuse: emotional, physical, sexual, domestic violence. I work from a biopsychosocial model perspective utilizing a variety of methodologies including psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral therapy trauma informed.

I hope to provide a safe space in which clients can feel comfortable in expressing themselves and feel heard and empowered. This space can serve as a reminder of the value that they deserve to be heard but most importantly, that you do not have to go through things on your own.
