Needing some relief from the stress, anxiety, “meh” feelings, or burnout? Is something holding you back from living your fullest and most authentic, joyful life? Are you ready for a shift? I offer effective tools and practices to help you manage stress, navigate through the challenges you are experiencing, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels good again. I aim to hold a nonjudgmental and supportive space for you. We will collaborate to help you find the ease and relief that you are looking for.

I am both a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor and Board-Certified Music Therapist with clinical experience in psychiatric hospital, school, and residential treatment center settings. With a passion for facilitating growth, healing, and creative inspiration through the power of music, for over a decade, I also worked in music education and youth development programs, and most recently, as a music therapist.

I believe that you are the expert on your life and that you hold the wisdom needed to move forward on your healing journey. We can work together to help you (re)connect with yourself and your innate wellbeing, wisdom, and creative energy, and we’ll meet your stressors with compassion and resources.

While I do offer verbal counseling, if you are interested, I can also bring in music to support the therapy process. This can look like engaging in a guided imagery or relaxation experience with the support of recorded or live music. As a result, clients may connect with their strengths and healing potential in new or profound ways. I also offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which are focused sessions that include the use of eye movements, imagery, and metaphor to invite rapid healing. With ART, often, clients find quick relief without having to share all the details of what happened.

I seek ongoing training to develop in areas such as trauma-informed practice, and I aim to strengthen anti-oppressive practices and seek further training to support clients who experience minority stress and trauma or generational trauma. I am currently training in methods of guided imagery and music.

If you are feeling anxious or uncertain about starting therapy, know that you are not alone! Therapy is a unique experience, and it is important that you feel comfortable with your therapist. Whether you’re feeling stressed out, burned out, or something is holding you back from living your fullest life, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
