Gabriela Chavez, AMFT

AMFT 152201

Hi, I’m Gaby, a therapist dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful growth. I specialize in working with youth under 18, and also support adults and families dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and complex family dynamics. I am deeply committed to supporting neurodivergent individuals, the LGBTQIA+ community, and those navigating adoption or the foster care system.

I recognize that healing is often complex and non-linear, and I understand how isolating and difficult this journey can be. My approach is grounded in empathy, acceptance, and respect for each person’s unique experience. I earned my bachelor’s in Psychology and Child & Family Studies from Cal State Long Beach, and my master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard and supported, helping them process emotions, build resilience, and strengthen relationships. When appropriate, I also collaborate with families to improve communication and foster connections. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or need support, I’m here to help you find healing and growth.
